    Out and about today, my FLX1 Linux Mobile phone is performing as I'd expect a smartphone to perform!
    Yeah, the major issues I was having were definitely that faulty SD card.
    Navi worked well. I was on Mastodon (via Tuba) and answering Telegram messages, while listening to some radio on Shortwave.

    If you're looking for a daily drivable Linux phone, I think this is about as daily driver ready as you can get.

      @hellomiakoda I'm glad to hear it's working well. I hope I can get mine soon. I ordered one back in April.

      @murdoc The price tag definitely hurt, but with everything going on, and so many trans people in my collection of friends, and being gay myself, I needed to step up the privacy on the device that's always in my bag.
      At least I made a wise choice buying it earlier than I originally planned to get it before the tarrifs

      @hellomiakoda
      Glad to hear. I can't wait to be able to afford one so I can get away from android finally.

      @hellomiakoda I have been loving GrapheneOS since I switched away from IOS, but I'm curious to learn more about other options.

      @nieuemma Linux Mobile works more like a phone shaped computer that can make calls, and apps are all full screen.
      It's interesting, and lots of Linuxy things work on it. I took video for a product review for something I got from a smaller merchant. To get it to my laptop, I used sshfs.
      I've plugged in an optical drive and ripped a movie on it once.
      My Shortwave library matches on it and my laptop because I sync that file.

      @nieuemma There's definitely things about it that are irritating.
      Syncing calendar and what not with NextCloud is a bit of a struggle, but it's working.
      The video camera doesn't properly rotate, and I had to use software on my laptop to make the sideways portrait video landscape.

      But there's also old school stuff I've gotten back in to. Shortwave is an example - I've really gotten back in to internet radio. Free music! I missed Groove Salad, and had forgotten about it.
