Also a good time to look at the #PeerTube ecosystem for an alternative way to share moving pictures. Things Bending Spoons has bought and enshittified already: Brightcove, Evernote, Meetup, komoot, Remini, and WeTransfer.

     @_elena @jwildeboer Oh wow! I have an old account on Vimeo. It was great but I kept hearing reports that if your video became too popular, Vimeo would start charging thousands of dollars per month for hosting.

     I stopped using it after Google granted me the “Darnell” user handle (I think a spammer had used it before so the handle was suspended), but I barely upload videos to there. 😂
