   @QasimRashid Empathy isn't sympathy. Empathy is the ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes. If I picture myself doing and saying what Charlie Kirk has done and said, then yeah, I can imagine pissing off someone so much that they would want to kill me. Empathy, sure. But no sympathy, ever, for Nazis.

     Hannah Arendt said 'The death of human empathy is one of the earliest and most telling signs of a culture about to fall into barbarism.'

     We saw the recent cruelty of MAGAs denying empathy to Melissa Hortman.

     Empathy for Kirk—not because he ever acted like a decent human—but because we are decent humans.
