   Can anyone please let me know if Lolo’s account is limited on mas.to (and if so, why?)

   We’re trying to get in touch with her to verify her and this is not helping.

   If anyone knows anything please let me know.

   Is the mas.to server a safe space for Palestinians suffering from Israel’s genocide and the resulting famine or should we be telling our friends in Palestine to create accounts elsewhere?

   I’d really like to know. Any help is welcome.

     @staff are you guys limiting Lolo’s account? We’re trying to get in touch with her so we can have a video chat with her to verify her and this is not helping as @joynewacc is on your server and can’t follow her.

     I‘d appreciate any help you can provide to resolve this.

     We’re trying to help people facing genocide and famine here. Can we PLEASE have a little humanity, folks? At least unblock her account long enough so we can have a video chat with her and keep it unblocked if we can verify her.

     @aral @trumpet ve careful of any German hosted mastodon server (like social). German antisemitic laws are very easily exploitable to hide pro Palestinian content.

     M.S moderators have a very light trigger. I once asked why they limited one account from .pl community, in my opinion for no reason, perhaps after some strange report from troll like person. I didn't receive, a response. Maybe you'll have better luck.

     @eleder @joynewacc @wariat @trumpet @staff @Gargron Joy and I are talking to her tomorrow over video in Signal. I’m confident she will be added to Gaza Verified.

     Once that happens, I would appreciate it if mastodon.social removes the limitation/block on her account. I’m already 99% sure she is who she says she is and that’s a person in Gaza trying to survive genocide and famine with their family for whom Mastodon/the fediverse is their last lifeline for obtaining help.

     So, yes, any assistance will be welcome. You can even say it’s a matter of life and death (because it is).

     @aral We are, but we’ve also had a handful of accounts that are almost certainly scams. Our moderators are working with contacts who can vouch for validated individuals, but this is onerous and not foolproof. Regarding the account you mentioned earlier, this has already been validated with us and we’ve put a note on the account to confirm.
