   Australia has a mix of horror stories & successes of this type. Such experiments are very carefully controlled & monitored now.

     @PhoenixSerenity @Susan60 @dedicto @chris They are an absolute menace in my neighbourhood. When it rains, it rains cane toads. They are everywhere. We kill 10 inadvertently driving the car out and then when we return, their numbers have multiplied again. Rabbits aside, probably the worst mistake we've made introducing foreign species.

     @Susan60 @dedicto @chris I have experienced the almost invincible cane toad! It was like a real life horror movie. I'll explain more, later. I learned cane toads can survive & come alive after being frozen 😳
