   A few weeks back I found these SATA laptop drives in a dumpster behind a once abandoned third party apple repair store. I finally got around to using #gparted to wipe all of the drives so that I could use them. Here's a photo of the drives I found and wiped

     @vga256 I plan on using them for various projects and upgrades. One I have in mind is upgrading the HDD in my MacBook Pro 2010 from 250GB to 1TB

     @captainarcee Have you run a SMART scan on them yet to make sure they're still in decent shape? I wouldn't store anything important on them unless they seem to be in good shape lol

     @JakobFel Gparted would throw up errors if they weren't in good condition. There weren't any issues so I'd assume they're in alright condition.

     @captainarcee Ah gotcha, I've never used Gparted before so I didn't know it had that. Good to know!
