     @judgedread And yet people were happier, didnt have to deal with niggers or pajeets, and when jews got too uppity the whole community got together for a good old fashioned pogrom

     @Fash-E Necessities - food, shelter and firewood. No indoor plumbing. No medical care. No dentistry beyond yanking out rotting teeth. The clothes on your back were the most expensive thing you owned. Your shack and land belong to the lord, and you were property. A few times a year you might get to go to the fair and have fun.
     
     Oh, and women had a higher mortality rate than men thanks to complications in childbirth.
