Alright, I asked about IRC clients, but what about networks? Which ones would people recommend? The only one I know I've heard of is Liberachat, and that seems to be especially for collaborating on FOS projects, at least according to what little I saw of the site.

As for clients I'm going to try Pidgin first. It's supposed to be good on accessibility. Anyone tried it?
