     Konstantin Samoilov had an interesting story about the banks in Russia a few days ago. By August 2025, a mid-sized Russian bank had stopped issuing all loans, including commercial, private and state-subsidized. With interest rates too high and no reliable borrowers, even individuals with good credit stayed away. The entire banking sector, he says, is nearing collapse.

     Yes, he is a slow talker. 😂 Another YouTuber that I thoroughly enjoy is Jake Broe. He's a slow talker as well, so I watch his videos at 1.5× the regular speed.
