   @RamenCatholic yeah. I mean I get it. Most of the gain is fresh produce, dairy, and meat. This month I kept it down to $550 by eliminating some of the meat. Hubby doesn't like it, but he hasn't missed it in the meals I've made so far....

     @somcak good to know! Since mine went on Mounjaro our grocery costs went down, but the cost of the med probably doesn't help in the long run with that. Worth it for a healthy hubby, tho!

     @somcak yup, mine's diabetic too (which is weird, because I'm the one with the wicked sweet tooth). We eat a lot of Leftover Surprise.

     @RamenCatholic Hubby's on Mounjaro for his diabetes which has lessened his appetite. A few nights a week I have "girl dinner" because he's just not hungry. But because I'm planning for girl dinners, I get the fancy cheeses....

     @RamenCatholic Hubby flat out refuses leftovers, even if they're planned overs. He has much richer taste than our budget. 💸
