   Being someone who at a high level understands the harms and hazards of "AI" but who still experiments with it casually without rigorous cognitive safety precautions is like being one of those woodworking guys who's always using the table saw incorrectly or agricultural machinery operators who keeps putting their body almost in the machine for thrills.

     @dalias I mean at some point we had some of the top nuclear physics in the entire world "tickling the dragon's tail" with the demon core and dying as a result, so this isn't exactly surprising. Still maddening, though.

     @aburka I'm not sure because it's not something I do, but that's something you need to figure out if you're going to dabble with that shit. Because it's absolutely a cognitohazard.
