   the latest updates to windows are remarkably unstable compared to the latest versions of fedora/gnome. The roles have basically flipped form how it used to be.

     @phnt @RustyCrab @gray I was installing Windows 10 LTSC on a certain machine, and it has apparently managed to snuck in "Teams Machine-wide Installer" in one of those updates which in turn automatically installs Teams. So even the enterprise version isn't free of cancer.

     @gray @RustyCrab .NET deciding to optimize its libraries in sleep mode is still my favorite.
     Update Windows->Restart->Do something->Walk away for 10 minutes->CPU getting completely destroyed

     @mint @RustyCrab @gray Yeah, it isn't. I manually always disable the setting for updating other Microsoft products through Windows Update with a group policy. But at this point I'm pretty sure it wouldn't help either.
