   @celesteh ohhh ok fair, I know some non-smart things are unavailable/unaffordable these days so I figured maybe you didn't really have much of a choice in the matter

   I know smart TVs at least are basically unavoidable these days unless you also want crap picture quality to go with(out) it

     I bought a Bevel "Smart" Oven a while back and despite the name it has no app or wifi antenna or sim card slot or anything... it just runs off the regular old control panel
