   I think Tomb Raider 1 is my all time favorite game. Frustrating as fuck, it was a massive dose of dopamine when I'd finally get through a level.
   Plus... I felt very powerless as a kid. In Tomb Raider, I got to be an armed, intelligent, beautiful woman who kicked ass and took nobody's shit.

   and I've said it before... modern Tomb Raider games just don't have the same appeal. I enjoy them, but they're something different than Classic TR.

     @eseilt That and they made Lara a crying mess in the new ones. Yes, real people have loads of emotions. Very valid emotions! ...I dont play games for real. I play games to escape real!

     @hellomiakoda yeah, I tried one of the modern ones and the overall feeling was "this could have been a direct to VHS movie". No challenge whatsoever, it was an exercise in "press B to advance to next next place where you have to press B".

     Nothing to do with the original, gameplay-wise.
