   i just did a fun presentation at work in which i talked about 'how i learned to keep doing things i suck at' and

   i talked about how one year i decided to take a typography class thinking it was 'learn to choose typography' and then it turned out to be 'make a typeface'

   i was the only person there who wasn't a designer, who didn't know how to use indesign, etc, but the instructor was so kind and welcoming she was like 'stick around, do something fun, i want to see what a 'non-designer' ends up making'

   and i ended up making this

   will i ever be a designer? probably not

   but

   i had a lot of fun and that's what mattered

     also noting that my past perfectionist self would have thrown out this picture because of the 'mistake' that i made (adding detergent to my film dev tank instead of.. chemicals)

     but i ended up thinking this photo is cute and maybe i can make a zine about 'all the mistakes i made' as art

     @skinnylatte I love that image! The sky bubbles go well with the decoration on the vw van. Is the image stable? Which chemical did you replace with detergent? (Can't have been the developer.... stop bath? )
