@edumerco last winter I dedicated myself to working through an emacs manual and realized I didn't actually want a program that does everything and just want a lean but powerful text editor that integrates well with the CLI.
I also like how vim bindings are so ubiquitous on things like tiling window managers.
I also am cool with simple lists as a knowledgebase, plus Zotero.
