@hazelnot @cmdrmoto When I was homeless in the desert, I was in my vehicle, hyper focused on my laptop. I didn't realize the thermometer had stopped being able to read, having stopped at 120. I only noticed it because the laptop gave up on me.

Side Story - I had a little LCD TV mounted at the roof of the van. This TV used to be the cheap shitty one my grandmother had in her kitchen when her little B&W CRT wouldn't work with the DTV converter.
No matter how fucking hot it got in there, that TV just kept on going! No shutdown, no color shift, no change in backlight, it just kept on doing TV no matter how much it got roasted! It gave absolutely 0 shits about the desert oven! -
