@mike @vjprema If you see the HTML source code of Mastodon, you will see that on v4.0 Favicons have many variants and most browsers follow that and don't use /favicon.ico

I looked at it and we have an updated version of the Fosstodon favicon to reflect the new theming with the 4.0.x release, but it appears to be getting overpowered by the default logo. Not sure if that's something we can do anything about other than entering an issue on GitHub though.
