   Finally some visible progress

   I had totally suppressed all the memories of how time consuming it is to rebuild a boat, laminating polyester

   Removing the engine, the stainless bracket, hydraulics, electric and wires to the engine took a day

   Constructing the mold for the extension took a day

   But laminating, I lost count of how many days I have been laminating. Yesterday was productive, I did 1 layer in the morning and one in the evening, when it wasn't too hot. That's 5 m2

   All in all 25 m2.

     Nice boat. I had a buddy who bought a project boat for $2k last year. The thing had a crack in the engine block! ... he fixed it with .. JB Weld. .. Seriously. It's still going. He prepaid for a tow service .. which I'm sure he'll need 😅

     When he told me I was like "dude...." but we have a buddy who used JB Weld to fix a crack on his LS1 engine and it lasted 3 years 🤣
