     @ai6yr @pmonks nice. it was one of the trips where i followed a naturalist at camp mather to a nearby location for a evening hike, so somehow the names of places didn't stick

     Hetch Hetchy Dam there behind your right shoulder, I believe.

     If not, there's only a couple of other High Sierra dams it could be.
