   @garbados was really interesting to read Degrowth Communism and learn that Marx himself thought that he was wrong about a lot of stuff and was heading down a degrowth-indigenous-communist angle of research before he died.

     i don't think marx was "wrong" so much as he was just a guy, and that the discourse of "marxism" is now a body of thought and practice of countless names from every corner of the world, so that even calling it "marxism" becomes kind of a red herring for libs who want to pretend this or that shortcoming is actually some huge gotcha rather than an inevitable part of figuring shit out together
