     There is 0 chance Trump told them to put on a show. What is going on here is the normal shit show you see in government agencies where some higher up person who has been there 20 years and says "this is how we've been doing it, no politician is going to come around and tell us how to do our job"

     @sickburnbro They "had the brakes on," because they were ordered to just make a big worthless SHOW by the boss, Trump - who openly supports Shamnesty for 99% of the illegals, because they "work hard" (for low wages).
     
     They only deport the "Bad Hombres" who are "not useful to business" in keeping Americans poor - the same as policy Obama, but even slower.
     
     Trump could (since his 1st term) ORDER ICE to Felony-Bust the employers of illegals, using the existing court-cleared law, and fire "for cause" anyone who disobeyed that legal order. That policy would actually get the illegals gone.

     @PopulistRight I understand everyone's frustration because I feel it as well.
     
     I not only feel the frustration, as I have for year, but I feel a frustration of people not understanding the dynamics of ruling where it is rare when a single man can say exactly what he wants done, and it is done to the fullest.
     
     I don't know if we're ever going to get the great american middle class ever again. That might have been a symptom of the particular time. But what I do know is that Americans are overworked and underappreciated, abused and ignored. And I know that can change.

     @sickburnbro Trump didn't order them to felony-bust the Illegal's bosses, with the long-standing, court-cleared law. That would actually work - get 99% of them fired, broke, and gone. Then we get the Great American Middle-Class, again.
     
     Playing "Whack A Mole" with "Bad Hombres" = BIG, FAKE SHOW. So, yes, that is exactly what Trump ordered.
     
     Look at the SHOW targets, like Home Depot - to maximize the leftist-response, to create the illusion Trump is "fighting the ebil dims on immigration," as he pushes Shamnesty for the vast majority of them, to Keep Americans Poor, for The Ruling Jew massas.
