     software is my craft and i’m damn good at it, but settler society has no interest in good software, or in using software for the good of humanity. wretched vichy pretend a measured and apolitical neutrality but it is sheer cowardice. you pretend that the cogs you make are too small and obscure to matter but there they are again and again in the guts of murder machines, and there you are side by side with genocidaires, fundamentally uncritical. of course coders never unionize. they are spineless.

     i hate my profession and just about everyone in it, not because i am driven by categorical hate, but because each and every one of them but for those few exceptions has personally earned my scorn. you always have the power to do better and every day that you don’t is a day i spend cursing you.
