     @gcvsa @kc Ahh! Thank you both! Now that is a very good new knowledge! It makes sense now. So, there was a French food event, I'll have to visit that too next time.

     Languages are really fun to learn. I'll study how to pronounce it correctly, instead of the English pronunciation. 😁

     @kc @youronlyone The circumflex over a vowel in French indicates where a following "s" was removed, so the original word would have been Middle French "goust", from the Latin "gustus" (taste). The French Academy revised the spelling, so post-1990, it is officially just "gout".
