   Little Things That Make My Jaw Drop:

   When fast food restaurants do press releases, like we should be excited that you're going back to your retro packaging for you 50th anniversary or you're re-releasing some hot trash menu item, BUT then people actually do get excited for it. This is upsetting for me.

   Add your own, but little things only please, my brain needs a break.

     @Kierkegaanks YES! Especially when it's sooo expensive, I keep mine until they stop doing security updates, and I'd do it longer if I could.

     @RickiTarr A thing from my work at a garbage dump, around 1995:

     Colleagues who literally risked their jobs trying to steal collectible trinkets given away in bags of crisps, assigned to the dump by the company producing them. They were convinced that somehow these would become valuable.
     (Mint examples fetch just about a dollar right now online)

     @RickiTarr When people work for a company with 100,000 employees who all use Outlook, mandatorily, and they didn't start like last month, and they still don't know how to use the tab that shows who is available when sending out a meeting request, so they send it when you have a meeting even though you are required, and when you tell them they say "send me your availability" instead of checking themselves ... what do they want, a screenshot of my calendar, which they could just open?

     @RickiTarr Also when people message on MS Teams "This is about incident 123456/2025" ... without the title ... or the link ... they evidently have the incident open but they now want me to open the incident portal, copy and paste the (non-unique!) number, wait for the slow search and then guess which one is the one they are talking about?

     Sometimes I think how effed up WE think pharma ads are, and then I try to imagine what future generations will think.

     And that's just the ads for pharma.
