I believed in a young upstart in the UK who said all the right things and then sold out entirely when his party got into a coalition government with the conservatives. Guess where he ended up after he was boosted in the next election? Did you say Facebook? How’d you guess? (He finally left this year after seven years of as Mark Zuckerberg’s coin-operated mouth hole.)

     @aral Ugh. I knew Obama palled around at Google and Amazon, but FB is another low altogether. I know, as much shit as Clinton gets for neoliberalism and being triangulated, people don't like talking about how VERY similar Obama was. (FTR, I voted for HRC in the 2008 primary, because I valued someone knowing what they were talking about.) It's Syria, though, that I'll never forgive him for.
