     Whilst the scientist in me can see the benefits, as someone who is alive and politically engaged in 2025, this is SO ripe for exploitation for nefarious aims - especially with the current scapegoating of disabled and trans folks in the UK, and US.

     We've seen what happened when ket-addled broligarchs get anywhere near government databases - data goes missing, and will doubtless be mis-used. That happening with genetic data is extra worrisome.
