     @Vidmastereon Most people think Ubuntu or Mint are good to start with. Debian is fine, too.
     
     I hate all of those and I installed Slackware on my mom's computer and it's been working out fine.

     @Vidmastereon I should say that, no matter which one you pick, most people will shit on it and if you say "What should I do about this problem?" or "How do I get it to do this thing?" then 90% of the replies will be "use a different distro" and anyone whose advice starts and stops with that is a shithead that you should completely disregard because they only know how to rice and acan't ctually help you with anything.
