before going college as a Japanese Studies student at university (pre-2016) was an absolute heck of weeb. Most of my favorites are not even on the list (Coppelion, K, Girls und Panzer), that sucks lmao. Nonetheless... when i started going into college i rarely watch anime (probably because i'm too invested learning to make music).
Guess I'm not as much of a weeb as you guys. Seems like a bunch of big ones aren't on this list though. No Evangelion, Gundam 08 Team, Rising of the Shield Hero, Puella Magi, Cowboy Bebop?
@tyil@sandycorzeta This is mine, I have selected even those whose manga I have read. This is really good way to select what I want to watch next, (Im currently watching lucky star), and there are some which I know but havent watched, also where THE FUCK IS NAGATORO
@sandycorzeta@misskey.id I expected to get more, how is this list even compiled?! Girls und Panzer was a great anime and should be included in every list!
I just make a directory of symbolic links in "unwatched_anime" whenever I pirate something and delete the think when I watch it. I made a script to automate it years ago, but only use it for my movies folder now:
@stelo@djsumdog@tyil@sandycorzeta I would be fine with just a text list of what I have watched, but I have moved on to WHITE hobbies of reading(mangs) so mangadex takes care of it all.
@djsumdog@djsumdog.com MPV is a movie player, I mean a media player as in a proper interface to play media, which generally keeps track of what you watched already. Don't tell me you hook up a laptop to your TV, open a terminal by hand and then manually type out what you want to watch 😨
I had Kodi+LiberELEC but I hated that shit. Just give me a damn file manager and I'm good. I don't need your fancy Netflix-clone streaming garbage with IMDB/RT scores. I'm a simple kind of media pirate :blobfoxpirate:
@djsumdog@djsumdog.com That looks like the setup of a savage who polished his rock. There's even icons on your desktop, which shouldn't be visible because your media player should be visible! Kids these days don't know how to create a good home theater, I tell you.
