   As I feared, something of course has gone wrong with the install - the big fan unit that sits where the old furnace used to sit (I forgot the official name for it) requires 240v to run the circulating fan. They knew they wouldn't be able to connect the backup heat strips today due to lack of power/box space, but everyone was assuming the main fan ran on 120 but apparently the unit that they spent the whole day installing turns out to require 240 for the fan, too, and so now we have a problem.

     Okay, so they are sending someone at the butt crack of dawn again tomorrow (7:30) to do whatever hack it takes to get cooling to work since there's already heat advisories being issued for this coming weekend and they (and us) are concerned about that so they want to make it right.

     Once the electrical box is upgraded later by the solar people (or whoever ends up doing it), they'll come back and make sure the heat strip stuff is all connected and setup properly before winter comes.

     In theory there's *just* enough space in my breaker box for one more dual breaker to make 240 for this. So possibly they can setup a temporary thing - wouldn't work for the heat strips, but could power the fan. However they didn't have the required stuff for it and they aren't super comfortable messing around with a sketchy workaround themselves - they want an electrician to do it or sign off on it or something.

     Issue being, it's gonna be hella hot here starting tomorrow and we now have no A/C.
