   We'll find out shortly if Trump is gonna go to war with Iran. If so it will probably be an Authorization of the Use of Military Force (AUMF) and NOT a formal declaration of war by congress. A formal declaration of war is actually a pretty big fucking deal and I can almost guarantee if that happens any US citizen aged 18 to 26 reading this is getting a draft notice in the mail.

     @EssentialUtinsil dumb Whiteoids think because we had a sustained terror bombing of Kosovo 30 years ago and caused them to overthrow their leader, or because bombed Gadaffi and took advantage of tribal division to remove him, we can replicate that same process anywhere in the world.

     @Terry a draft is only required if they're going to do full-on boots on the ground invasion to seize territory. right now I think they're assuming (maybe rightly so) they can just bomb the shit out of enough key targets, possibly including the supreme leader, and they'll fold.
