   But that’s also why I struggled so much to talk about it

   ‘You can eat whatever you want and not put on weight? Sounds great, why are you complaining’

     @monkeyninja I went into a thyroid storm and that’s how I discovered I had it. I had a close to 100 heart rate for many years at rest. It was not fun

     @skinnylatte A thyroid storm brought on by misdiagnosed Graves’ killed one of my cousins. It’s not something anyone should ever laugh about. That’s horrendous.

     @skinnylatte @monkeyninja a close family member has been recently diagnosed with Graves'. It has been a few hard years for her, with thyroid behaving erratically, sometimes hyper and sometimes ipo. Now that it's being treated things are better

     Oh geez, I'm sorry. The number of people in this society who would sign up for an anxiety disorder as a diet plan is heartbreaking.
