     @levitte Ah, fair. :-)

     I can function as a mid level, maybe even senior software engineer, and end up writing some of my own tools, but I also very much appreciate when I don't have to. At my day job, I'm more oriented towards prototyping and "architect" level work.

     I consider myself purple/white. My integrity is very important to me.

     My work is on the surface "blue team" but I frequently run that from a "best defense is good offense" standpoint, and I do a lot of both offense/breaking and defense/fixing on the side.

     @ryanc @levitte In terms of job roles, it's mostly been - and still is - programmer (software engineer if you want to be fancy), but also been sysadmin, and tech support for a brief period. All since the later 1980's.
     My use of "hacker" is what is mentioned in RFC 2828, the old variety. I have heard of the white/grey/black varieties, the other colors are a novelty.
     So "old" is quite accurate, methinks 😉
