   I think we really need to agree on one or two clear, deconflicted hashtags for technical #cybersecurity alerts and #IOCs given the lack of string search and algorithm.

     @jerry @hacks4pancakes @jwgoerlich @cirriustech @mttaggart @siliconshecky I just tried with iPhone’s build-in screen reader, now checking whether it understands #ThreatIntel (CamelCase) better then #threatintel.

     Why yes. Yes, it does make it sound like “Threat Intel”, not like rumpelstiltskin‘s cousin.

     So CamelCase please???

     @hacks4pancakes @siliconshecky I'd like to nominate #ThreatIntel as the tag for actual research/IoCs. I've been using a pinned column looking for multiple related hashtags for months now, and that one is never used, meaning its adoption would result in a pretty high signal/noise ratio.

     @siliconshecky we never had a standardized hashtag. In fact, we were pretty bad at using hashtags because we were spoiled by the algorithm and news feed. Now we really need to.

     What hashtag did we use on twitter? Currently, I have been following those same hashtags.
     Also how do we get people to use them? Seems like people even here refuse to do so.
     That said, I said we put it as #42purple cause of geeks.
