   Cannabis products are about to get a lot more expensive for customers in Minnesota - the tax is going to increase from 10% to 15%.

   And that's on top of normal sales taxes.

   I don't mind paying a small "sin tax" on recreational weed, but goddamn, the market isn't even up on its feet yet!

     @somcak how is your state's medical program? I used to be on mine, but it was too damn expensive. I went back to recreational.

     @RamenCatholic Here in Ohio we just got the recreational market opened up last year with a 10% tax on top of sales tax. In this year's budget, the legislature has decided that they need to double that to 20%. Yeah. I can't afford that!

     @RamenCatholic It will be the same tax rate. Never mind the state has a $1 billion (yes with a B) surplus this year, and over $2 billion in the bank right now. Republicans suck!
