     @nyx i think of this every time i watch amerikkkan psycho. the scene where he's confessing to his lawyer that he "ate their brains and tried to cook a little." *tried*. like i imagine Patrick in his kitchen with a "kiss the cook" apron tasting his brain a la pastor, saying "this didn't turn out right *at all*" and dumping it straight in the trash.

     yesterday I was thinking about how cannibalism is primarily an erotic impulse rather than being done for sustenance other than in very extreme cases, and this made me realize that it is possible for someone to be a cannibal but also like very bad at cooking. like imagine you kill someone to eat them because you're a cannibal but you're also a white who doesn't season their food and then get arrested for it and end up not even get a decent meal out of it
