     The right does this too with the instance on mass deportation without process, which is how all the Jan 6th people got fucked.
     
     Everything is designed to divide people and make everyone rejects their fundamental rights.

     I don't have them bookmarked, but The Last American Vagabond did cover cases of people who were legal residents that were deported. (Legal residents who got their green cards legally, not people who entered illegally and got legal status)

     They have the right to habeas corpus (literally: in the body) which is the right to challenged your detention and to be present for legal accusations against you.

     I'm a citizen (born), my father/sister are citizens (legal/tested/earned) but my mom never got her citizenship when she was alive. Could she have just been picked up an deported? (She had MS and was very sick at the end of her life. She wouldn't have survived the trip back to India).

     It does suck because Obama (via DACA) and Biden (via being a CIA puppet) gave a degree of legal status to all of these people who came in illegally. All of those people do have to go through an actual due process before they're deported. Even if you could shorten that process to 15 minutes, that's still insurmountable due to the sheer amount of people who were let in.

     And I do want to say: I want them deported. My family went through the process in the 70s. I've gone through the process (blood tests, x-rays, criminal background checks) when I lived in New Zealand for 3 years. Borders are important in modern civilization.

     But let's get right down to it: what dystopian bullshit will this usher in? Bio-metrics and digital IDs. The entire mess created by both parties will be reduced to a technocratic solution.

     It's a mess and Orange Man's friends created it.
