   Youtube says they're pulling back on their moderation. I don't really think they could if they wanted to with how their employees are, but it's gotten so bad that content makers are censoring the word "crap" and "fart" so they don't get demonetized

     @earthling I don't even believe that at this point. What advertiser is on on the phone yelling at google to pull their ads down because someone said "fart"? Probably the way it works is that they offer advertisers "levels" of safety without control over what is actually in those levels and YouTube jannies are completely psychotic because it's California

     @RustyCrab they can't really pull back moderation even if they wanted to cause it's the advertisers who forced that shit on them in the first place, they still have to bend over backwards to appease them
