   I *guarantee* there are some veterans essentially defrauding the VA for payouts. but it's not common
   
   why is anyone surprised there are lots of veterans legitimately getting disability money? we spent 20 fucking years letting guys get blown up in the middle east because the pentagon wanted to play games with the goatfuckers instead of just killing them. we would've had 1/10th the casualties if we actually fought instead of acting as roaming target practice

     @deprecated_ii Most of the people I know who get disability get it for hearing damage, or because they were in southern Iraq around oil fields and burn pits including a guy who developed cancer from it
     
     One of my soldiers gets 100% but he was almost killed after a civilian t-boned his humvee and suffered traumatic injuries to the point where he had to relearn how to walk
