   Fucking hell. At this rate, the Israelis will make "antisemite" a worthless word empty of meaning.

   And honestly, if it's anti Jewish racism to oppose mass murder (which it isn't), then I would expect many more people to become anti Jewish racists.

     I feel so pissed about it.

     It's not antisemitism to be antifascist or anti-Kahanist and I will die on this hill.

     It is infinitely more antisemitic to equate the Jewish ethnicity and religion with the Israeli state's brand of fascism, in my view. It's tantamount to a blood libel.

     @sknob @burnoutqueen israel calls criticism of itself or its genocide antisemitism. They’re the ones equating all Jews with Israel and being pro-genocide. And it would be a stretch to call them “the left.”

     The only guilty party here is the one committing genocide.

     @burnoutqueen @aral well that second bit is the problem isn’t it? So many people on the left (in France at least) equating jews with israeli fascists the same way people on the right equate muslims and palestinians with islamic terrorists. Jews and muslims are instrumentalized and tokenized all over the political spectrum for tactical, electoral reasons, while Israel continues to massacre palestinians unimpeded…

     @sknob @burnoutqueen Yeah, I guess the Palestinian people who have been colonised close to eight decades, been forced to live in an apartheid state, been ethnically cleansed and who now face genocide are also to blame.
