   that's weird, why does kde have separate entries for "reboot" and "shut down" in the menu but they both take you to the same screen where you can choose to either sleep, reboot, shut down, or log out

   there is also a separate entry for sleep, but that one actually just immediately sleeps the OS

     does your sleep work with nvidia card? My system doesn't do wake up good and i blamed nvidia wihtout investigation :DDD
