   @mycorrhiza and talking with them to keep a stach or unsweetened matcha around for things like diabetic customers? Might be enough of an angle to keep it afloat

     Tragedy! My favorite neighborhood coffee spot has started pre-sweetening their matcha. This leaves nothing of interest on the menu for my spouse, who dislikes coffee and sweet drinks.

     We’ve been going once or twice, most weekends, since we moved here. It’s Our Spot! But now I suspect I’ll only come through every few weeks — the end of an era.
