@freya A networked package manager is basically `wget && pkgadd`, the more interesting part is having some sort of catalog so that you know what packages are available and whether they need updating.

@ptribble we got DPKG running on Solaris 10 SPARC, for cursed reasons. We're now trying to get apt running. After all, FractalKit is going to get updates, and Solaris 10 never did get a networked package manager...
