   I have been on the lookout for a sensible Gboard replacement that wasn't making my (voice) typing experience painful, and so far only FUTO Keyboard managed to provide that.

   It has really good offline voice typing as well, which is something I use a lot.

   I can not recommend this enough!

     @tusharhero @unfa Btw, as a person who cares about free software I'd like to remind you that FUTO keyboard is neither free software nor open source.

     Giving up your freedom for keyboard seems kind of silly.

     @tusharhero @unfa Mr. Rossman wants us to understand the importance of Right to Repair movement. And we do understand and support it. Yet, he, himself, doesn't realize that Right to Repair movement when applied to software is only a subset of free software movement.

     He promotes and develops non free software. In Right to Repair parlance, it would be something like, the repairer is not allowed to charge any fees for the work he has done or you are not being able to resell the software you bought. I think, Mr. Rossman would have said this is nothing but mockery of the Right to Repair movement. And, he will be right.

     He should apply his standards equally to software as well as hardware.

     @redstarfish @unfa It is very deceptive as well, the website acts like its on f-droid (which might signal that's free software). But its actually not in the proper f-droid, and they ask you to add their own repository.

     The whisper thing is free software though, and integrates well with Heliboard.
