     @lanodan I always thought the banter was the point of having chat on streams. Every channel I have participated in seems to lean into it, with channel lore built up over time.

     Its been years since my favourite streamer built their chair live on stream only to then accidentally pour their mug of coffee onto it. Chat still requests a chair building stream to this day.

     @carbontwelve Well sometimes it's more like just hanging out, but maybe that's like early years of twitch before people realized they could troll the streamer.
