@Gnomeshatecheese@FeartnTired Oh, I’m glad you commented, I meant to go back and watch this but presumably got distracted by agonising boob pain.
She is obviously bonkers, but I would be interested to see a similar analysis of his video: there was an awful lot of slides vanishing before they could be fully read, underlying assumption that his assumptions were correct, and references to his own code terms without expansion (eg towards the end P1 is explained as being bollocks, then a brief “and P3 is also bollocks” without saying what P3 was, and what about P2?).
or even Keto. Carrots are incredibly high in starch. If you're trying to cut down on starch, carrots, peas and corn should all be minimized in favor of broccoli, cauliflower, celery, radishes, cabbage and many other veggies that are more water and cellulose than starch.
I only watched 5 min and I have a problem with this guy just saying "Carrots are not food" without letting her finish. I want to know her point. Carrots are highly bread and they have been for centuries. It's fucking impossible to find purple or yellow carrots anywhere. Corn also use to have a lot more protein 150 years ago. All modern corn has been reduced to only a handful of major, patented varieties.
So she might be making a point about genetic modification or selective breeding making our food not food. But we'll never know cause this guy doesn't let her finish the argument. Maybe he does eventually, but he's so dishonest at the start I don't see any reason to give him more time. He's probably just as bad a grifter as her.
@Gnomeshatecheese@Flick he also stopped short with just the carrot thing, we don't know what point she was selling with that. But I did think it was interesting seeing an analysis of persuasion
@FeartnTired@Gnomeshatecheese I suspect she’s just selling generic paleo diet: nothing personal against carrots, but see they’re just another of those terrible herbs that are poisoning you.
@Flick@FeartnTired I expect part of that is because of the length of the video. 26min is a miserably short clip for a deep dive into convoluted logic, and I didn't even realise how short, until I was at 10min and realised he had only introduced his second point there, almost halfway through.
