     @evan all of the above, bearing in mind that beautiful appearance is subjective. My wild garden is beautiful to me because it attracts a variety of critters.

     I also optimise for minimal maintenance.

     And as I'm currently moving from the UK to Spain, I'll get to learn a different way to do it.
