     I like some hard games. Hotline Miami I/II, Stellar Blade, Katana Zero, Lithium City ...

     Elden Ring just felt like it would have involved a lot of grinding, the graphics kinda sucked and there was nothing that made me feel like continuing to play would make it remotely worth it. :blobcatshrug:

     yeah, you only grind if you want to. not out of necessity.
     
     it annoyed me at first too and I went back to DS3.
     
     gave it another chance and now at like ng+20. it's fun 🤷🏼♂️

     @djsumdog none of those games have a similar genre tho, just similar difficulty
     
     Its not grindy tho, sure you can grind for levels, but youll stay at a proper level if you go around exploring, youre not forced to take on any bosses, making grinding moot. Also thx to those "bad" graphics the game isnt a bajillion gbs big lol

     Maybe I'll try it again. Might be a while. I got it for PC and haven't played any PC games in a while.
