     @Gina@fosstodon.org I didn't use #Pocket, but I've seen some recommendations from people on my timeline. So far the nicest one I've seen has been LinkWarden, which is AGPL-3.0 licensed. Since I didn't use Pocket I can't tell you how well it works as a replacement, though, but I hope it helps anyway!

     @tyil @Gina Reviewing the repo I have concluded that there is no license and the copy of the AGPLv3 is just to trick people into thinking it's free software; https://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html#NoLicense
     
     There is neither a README statement stating which license applies to which file(s) nor *any* license headers, therefore the only conclusion that can be reached is that there is no license.
     
     Under apps/web/package.json I see;

     But that is not a legally valid license notice, and it does not state what the license is (i.e. AGPLv3-only or AGPLv3-or-later) and is not even clear to what it applies too - there is no relevant index.js - there is only; ./packages/prisma/client/index.js & ./apps/web/scripts/migration/v2.6.1/index.js, neither of which correspond to version v2.10.2.
     
     
     I would not recommend using that proprietary software unless it is freed - at bare minimum there needs to be added to the README an unambiguous statement as to the project license, but there should also be an AGPLv3-or-later license header added to each nontrivial file too, so the license and the software cannot easily become separated.

     @Suiseiseki@freesoftwareextremist.com @Gina@fosstodon.org I don't see anything about being allowed to use a later version, so I'm guessing it's AGPLv3-only. Their license is (sadly) on GitHub: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/linkwarden/linkwarden/refs/heads/main/LICENSE.md
