   1 thing I hate about Sharkey
   
   If you're replying to a post, and decide to select "delete and edit" and you mistakenly click anywhere that would dismiss that overlay, the post is gone.
   
   It has been years, and they have not fixed that issue.

     @Linux @starlight i don't doubt that the dev is doing a great job and i don't doubt that cherrypick is a fine piece of software either. but i had have enough of migrating this instance through various forks of misskey and i don't really want to add yet another one

     @starlight I often wish @puniko would move us all to CherryPick, because where Misskey / Sharkey fails, CherryPick does better. The developer @noridev@kokonect.link does a good job.

     @Linux Similar issue with the 2-5 pixel area I have to click on if I want to be able to use my arrow keys to scroll up and down the feed without having them "helpfully" chaotically jump up and down the feed as it tries to jump to the next post, which most of the time doesn't actually show the post text at all but only the top or bottom couple of lines.

     The little tiny triangle which takes up only 2–5 pixels is what you're aiming for to resize your overlay so you can see your post, and if you miss it, your post goes "bye-bye".

     I have had some really good, thought out post - the type that you're not going to be able to reproduce, vanish because of that issue.
     
     So why not just edit the post?
     
     Because Misskey, does not support edits. And so whatever mistype I was trying to fix, if I edited the post, Misskey users would still see that mistype.
     
     So really, I blame both. -- Misskey and Sharkey.
